I have decided to start a new post category
called One-Shot. It will feature photographs
that don't fit any other category or when I
have only one picture of a particular starlet
or when I find a picture that is so utterly
beautiful that I just can't wait another
second to share it with y'all. Or just because.
It'll be kind of a loose category, as you can
tell. Bear with me.

Ready

This is a picture of Phyllis Haver that I just
plain like. It's not the marcelled hair, that
plump elbow, or the bee-sting lipstick. It
might be the dress or the hand-on-the-hip
pose. I dunno. She just looks ready.

Oh Bebe!

So I come across this large picture of Bebe
Daniels, right? And she's a brunette, and
she's got her hair down. And she's wearing
really cute earrings and pearls, okay? And
she's in this really cool dress. Uh-huh. So
what the hell else would I do with it, right?
(It's a starlet emergency!)
