Is this a cool picture or WHAT? And, for you vintage fashion
ladies, is that a cool dress? Uh-huh. And it's a cool pose and a
cool pool and...well...I mean, everything's just really, uh, cool
about it. This is Anna Sten in a publicity photo for the 1939

A girl and a good horse are the two things a
cowboy needs. And maybe a good rifle. Okay,
three things. A girl, a good horse, and a rifle. And
maybe a good pair of boots. Oh, and a canteen.
And a good saddle and some cartridges for the
rifle. And spurs and a bottle of sipping whiskey.
Okay, seven things then. Wait! Wait!
All a real cowboy really needs is a good horse,
a bad girl, and a credit card.
. . .and maybe a pickup truck.
