I watched Mulholland Falls (1996) last night and not just because of Jennifer Connelly's pneumatic performance. I like movies with a sepia-toned Los Angeles Police Department. I like True Confessions (1981) and, of course, L.A. Confidential (1997), too. I hadn't really been impressed with Mulholland Falls when I first saw it, but this return viewing (I think it's my third) was very enjoyable.
