Americus, Georgia-born actress Joanna Moore appeared in numerous 1960s television shows, was Andy Taylor's girlfriend for a while on The Andy Griffith Show, and is the mother of actress Tatum O'Neal.
There is, of course, only one Miss Tuesday Weld. The problem is that when you search for "tuesday" and "weld," you might get results about Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday or you might find arc welds, forge welds, and spot welds. And then there's the whole mess with that British band called "The Real Tuesday Weld." It's almost easier to search for "Sue Ann Stepanek," the character that Tuesday Weld played in Pretty Poison (1968). Besides that one, I liked her a lot in Play It As It Lays (1972), Who'll Stop the Rain (1978), and or course Thief (1981).
Her birthday was last week, August 27th. Happy birthday, Tuesday Weld.
Okay, here's what you do. You Windows users press Play on one of these tunes, open Spider Solitaire, and play a two- or four-suit game to the jazz. When you've run out of jazz, just start over again. When you win a game, start another. You Macintosh users, click Play and do whatever quiet thing it is that you do to waste time. Enjoy!
