According to MSNBC, Joseph Alois Ratzinger, also known
as Pope Benedict XVI, canonized five new saints inside St.
Peter's Basilica today. For some unknown reason, none of
these ladies were on his list.

Mad Lovely
I watched Mad Love (1935) again last night. In spite of her weird painted-on eyebrows, I can see why Peter Lorre's psycho-perv mad-doctor character might develop a decidedly unhealthy obsession with Frances Drake. It was his first American film.
