July 1st is Geneviève Bujold's birthday. I loved her in Obsession (1976) and Coma (1978). I'd like to see her in Alex & the Gypsy (1976), if that ever becomes available on DVD. Happy Birthday, Geneviève.
Just saw her for the first time in Coma. Caught it after the start, and the only reason I kept watching it was because she was so beautiful. The movie was actually great!
She's a cool actress. I like her as well.
ReplyDeleteshe is a beauty . i just saw earthquake
ReplyDeleteShe's always been one of my favorite mysterious actresses. Very French, very cool and VERY beautiful.
ReplyDeleteShe was my first love.
ReplyDeleteFirst as the ballerina in the insane asylum in King of Hearts.
Then in a now-forgotten Canadian film called Kamouraska.
She was better looking at 35 (Coma) than at 25 (King of Hearts).
And still a fox at 46 (Dead Ringers).
Have had a long string of dark-haired, dark-eyed significant others because of her. :-)
Best regards,
Brian
Why did she NOT take the part as the starship captain in Star Trek: Voyager? She would have been much better than the person they cast after she left.
ReplyDeleteHypnotic beauty, great actress.
ReplyDeleteLove her too.
