I love watching
Helen Mack. I just watched her in
She (1935) from those good folks at
Kino. Great fun movie with swell special effects. Of course, I also like watching her walk around in a
swimsuit. Anyway, in
She, Helen Mack does not play the title character, "
She Who Must Be Obeyed." Instead Helen plays "Tanya," who might be called "
she who cannot be ignored," mainly because she's as cute as lace pants. Exactly
why Randolph Scott doesn't just run away with her in the first place, I don't know. (And you can keep all that "Cary Grant" whispering to yourself.) Anyway, the Kino DVD can be watched in color or in black and white, and there are lots of extras. These pictures don't do it justice. Check it out for yourself.
