Hey... this isn't the kind of Change I was expecting on the third birthday of Starlet Showcase. Hope you're well and just enjoying the start of football season.
I've been reading and watching your blog almost since the beginning. I hope that all is well with you. I really enjoyed all the pictures, but most of all I enjoyed your stories about your life, especially your work-related stories. You will be missed.
I am very sorry to see that you have closed your Starlet Showcase website Mr. Parker. I had grown into the habit of getting up every morning, doing breakfast, & then with a cup of tea sitting down to peruse your latest photos. Some of your photos were outstanding & i will miss you for a while. Frank Scivier, Portsmouth UK.
a real bummer. You've been a real fixture on the intertubes for me, and I'm going to miss the great photos as well as your musings. You did a ton of work for no dough, and a lot of folks appreciate it.
Well, I certainly hope this means you have gotten yourself the hell out of that place where you freeze and wish you were somewhere else. I hope you are somewhere else now. Good luck to you big guy. As you can see, you will be missed. And a very classy way to say goodbye too! We expect no less from the master. xxoo

I certainly hope this doesn't mean anything tragic for Parker. He's been too much a 'distance buddy' for me, a kindred spirit.
