It's Anjanette Comer Day. Don't ask me why. It just is. She's a Texas girl, and I kinda like Texas girls. Go figure. And she's got great Texas Girl hair. And her name rhymes with Homer, if you're interested.
I guess it wasn't that unusual to be named after her. I was born in April of 1969. Everyone always told me my name was beautiful and rare. My mom told me I was named after the actress Anjanette Comer. I am glad because she is a beautiful lady and her name is also beautiful. Just had my first grand baby and my daughter named her Jayleigh Anjanette..... What a great feeling to have someone named after you.. ;o)
I had never heard of her until my husband wanted to name our youngest daughter after her. Comer is dark haired and my daughter is blonde; what a contrast!
She did have a bit of Pleshette in her! I remember her in a Gunsmoke rerun . But "The Loved Ones" is an absolute cult classic!! Her high pitched voice is cute!
I always thought she looked hot when I saw her on TV all those year ago. Btw, in that first picture I thought she looked a lot like Suzanne Pleshette.
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful. I finally decided to do some research on the actress I was named after. Amazing..Now I need to find and watch some of her films.
ReplyDeleteI was named after her as well. She is very pretty.
