Happy Birthday, Lee Remick
It's Lee Remick's birthday.
(I'm going to forego the usual mouse-over ALT
information because there are too many photos
today.)
I figure everybody should have a dozen photos
of Lee Remick.
Lee Remick was my father's favorite
actress, and it's easy to see why.
My favorite Lee Remick movies:
A Face in the Crowd (1957)
The Long, Hot Summer (1958)
Anatomy of a Murder (1959)
No Way to Treat a Lady (1968)
Hard Contract (1969)
Telefon (1977)
Sunglasses covering a black eye in Anatomy of a Murder.
Personal quote: "I make movies for grownups. When
Hollywood starts making them again, I'll start acting
in them again."
Can you pick out the fresh-faced cheerleader in this
promotional picture for A Face in the Crowd?
Happy birthday, Lee.

What is it about this women? I fell in love with her as a young man after seeing the movie Wild River. Her beauty, sexuality and talent have yet to be matched. July 2nd will be the 17th anniversity of her death yet she will live forever in the hearts of those of us who loved her.
My dream of love.
