were funny (in a backward sort of 1950s
gay subtext sort of way).
Yes, that's Steve Reeves, who played
Lieutenant Bob Lawrence in the Ed Wood
masterpiece Jail Bait in 1954. That same
year, he played Jane Powell's boyfriend
in Athena. (Aaaaah, Jane Powell.) Athena
is silly, but also features Debbie Reynolds
(Mmmm) and Linda Christian (Yes!).
Steve went on to play Hercules in Europe.
