July 18th is Lupe Velez's birthday.
She was five feet tall. She married Tarzan
(Johnny Weissmuller). She was "the Mexican
Spitfire." She once played a character named
"Pepper" in a movie called Hot Pepper (1933).
She killed herself when she was only 36. She
really wanted to be remembered. She is.
