This, of course, is Sonja Henie, The First Lady of the Ice. Not much of an actress really. Not especially a great beauty either. She was a three-time Olympic figure skating champion and also excelled in skiing, swimming, and tennis. Like Esther Williams, Hollywood created movies around her central athletic talents. If you fully appreciate the grace and beauty of a well-muscled female skater in a tiny skirt skating backwards toward the camera (as I do), then you might enjoy the YouTube videos below.
