In the late 1980s, I was working on an article about Bennett, and thought I'd contact some of her co-stars for their recollections of her. One of the people I wrote was Alice, who actually called me! She said she didn't really recall anything about the film, or Constance; we talked for about a minute or so. I didn't get much out of it, but that she nice enough to call me was a thrill.
