That Red Headed Girl
At one time, red-haired Peggy Shannon was being groomed to replace Clara Bow. Peggy worked hard and drank hard and died at 31. Her credits include This Reckless Age (1932), The Painted Woman (1932), False Faces (1932), and The Case of the Lucky Legs (1935). Peggy Shannon's gravestone reads, "That Red Headed Girl."
