July 1st is Geneviève Bujold's birthday.
I loved her in Obsession (1976) and Coma (1978).
I'd like to see her in Alex & the Gypsy (1976), if
that ever becomes available on DVD.

She's always been one of my favorite mysterious actresses. Very French, very cool and VERY beautiful.
She was my first love.
First as the ballerina in the insane asylum in King of Hearts.
Then in a now-forgotten Canadian film called Kamouraska.
She was better looking at 35 (Coma) than at 25 (King of Hearts).
And still a fox at 46 (Dead Ringers).
Have had a long string of dark-haired, dark-eyed significant others because of her. :-)

Why did she NOT take the part as the starship captain in Star Trek: Voyager? She would have been much better than the person they cast after she left.
